Vincent Desiderio paints deeply moving canvases that are filled with ideas and the experience of life. Fascinated with art since childhood, at age 12, he painted a copy of part of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling in the family garage. He is a graduate of Haverford College and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts where he became very close to the artist Sidney Goodman.
He shows at the Marlborough Gallery in New York and shares his insights based on a lifetime of thinking about and creating art. He discusses his own work and that of Goodman, Vermeer, and his friend Antonio Lopez Garcia.
