Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes | Easy Side Dish Recipe

Today we're making an easy scalloped potatoes recipe. This makes for the perfect side dish that you can pair with chicken, pork, steak, veggies etc. I love how creamy and cheesy the potatoes are.

Recipe:
Slice 6 medium sized russet potatoes

In a saucepan add over medium heat:
3 tablespoons of butter (allow it to melt)
3 tablespoons of all purpose flour
2 cups of milk
1 teaspoon of onion powder, salt, paprika, minced garlic and jalapeno garlic pepper
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Add one medium onion and 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese. Whisk for 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted.

Add potatoes to a greased baking dish then top with cheese sauce (make sure the potatoes are evenly coated).

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Allow the potatoes to cook between 60-75 minutes. Remove once the potatoes are cooked all the way through and the top layer is browned to perfection.
