100 Years of "Felix The Cat". The First Felix Cartoon was in 1919. We'd hope JERRY BECK would help put out a big DVD Box Set of restored FELIX cartoons, but seems not. The Classic Felix was 1919 to 1930 with at least 178 cartoons, many are noted as "Lost" if many are on Pathe Film Reels still not on DVD. Old & Ropey but FELIX was the First Animated Hero who deserves a 100 Year anniversary. The Most Inventive Cartoon Character Ever.
As long as these keep getting interest, we'll upload more each month until our B&W toons are uploaded. Pictures tidied with proper B&W with contrast & brightness tidied plus random old music added as we done several years ago to make them watchable. Keep The Cat alive....
The Black Boy character was a known named character in his Red Hat, the Felix books tell more... his name was "Sammy Johnsin" first drawn by Pat Sullivan if Otto Messmer is the hidden genius behind Felix after just a few early cartoons that are in the UK 1920s Annuals. [ Ссылка ] also [ Ссылка ]
