➤ Episode 4: [ Ссылка ]
NOTE: Once again, the audio might be completely off. Or, not? I don't even know. On one laptop, my audio is really low but on the other it's really high?? Anyway, subtitles are available if there's any problems.
► Synopsis: Noah continues to struggle with the return of his brother into the picture. Ezra stands his grounds, much to his mom's dismay.
• EPISODE'S NOTES:
In this episode, you're still getting to know more and more of each character and everyone's relationship with each other. Not much happens, really (up until the end anyway).
But you still get to learn: How each Rivers child is dealing with Jonah's return: Raign being very much welcoming, Noah being very much unwelcoming, and Tresor being.. somewhere in between. Each saying a lot about each's personalities. You'll also learn where Ezra stands, and the lengths his "momager", will go to change it, through Jordan. You'll also get to know more of Raven, and where she stands in all of this. The Rivers family also get a taste of what to expect from the town following their father's mass murder.
What to expect: The next episode is going to be the aftermath of this episode, both with the whole Noah and Trezra (Tresor, Ezra) situations.
DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
• So , I actually had a really fun time filming and editing this particular episode. It was very stress and problem free. Up until the last scene, where I had to redo the whole set and stuff like that.
I do think that both the first and the last scenes are cringe-worthy but I don't have it in me to redo either of them, so. BUT, I am really, really proud of this episode all in all, so yeah. :D
• I did notice the one random blackout second up until the end, but I'm not going to rerender this shit for the 5th time, no sir.
• Tresor's outfit change is something I noticed, but didn't care for. Let's just say she was cold and decided to wear pants and rainboots. It is set time in November, so it's fall and it's expected to rain okay? fuck you let her wear pants
OH, and her hair throughout the episode is much longer than in the first scene when she wakes up.... Extensions?
I noticed the changes while filming her second scene, but I liked the way she looked too much and I thought "fuck it" Hope y'all don't mind the minor details!
► SPECIAL THANKS:
- To Rob O'dwyer who plays the drunk grieving man. So much talent, i'm so undeserving. Thank you.
- And to our very own Raign, theonlyexception, who played the last scene so well I need to mention it here. I had to cut the scene short because I over-estimated my filming skills. I wish I could've added every single take you had on those lines, though. U rule.
► QUESTIONS (ouuu)
1- Who do you think is handling the return of Jonah the most realistically? In other words do you imagine yourself being Tresor, Noah, or Raign in this situation?
2- Do you think Noah has every right to treat Jonah like this? Or do you think he's being a lil bitch and should get over it?
3- What do you think of Jordan? Do you think there's some bit of good intention somewhere there?
4- Do you kind of sort of understand where Mrs. Williams is coming from? Or is she just a stupid ass hoe
5- Who's your favorite character so far?
► CREDITS: I ended up removing the credit reel only because I didn't want it to take away from the dramatic feel of the last scene, if that makes sense AT ALL lol
