What is the lust of the flesh that is written about in the Bible? The Bible also refers to these desires as passions and desires, but what meaning do these Bible words have for us?

“But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.” James 1:14-15.

“And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” Galatians 5:24.
