We often hear that the diseases are because of lifestyle or living out of harmony with ones own constitution or prakriti. This prakriti decides from the basis of our fundamental level that is our emotional, physical and mental levels. There are three energies as per ayurveda. Vada, pitha and kapha. The balance of this sis health and imbalance of any one of these leads to the diseased condition. The predominance of this is seen in any one of these. Based on these there will be certain characters also. If it is vatha pitha personality physically their basic element will be air. The qualities of air will always be seen in these person. It can be light, it can be dry and cool. So all the qualities will be actually reflected on the personality. Physically they are set to be lean or underweight individuals. They can have dry skin and dry hair with very prominent veins. They have very bad digestive capacity. They are not able to eat full and they prefer to eat in portions and usually they suffer from flatulence or constipations. Mentally vatha prakriti they are fickle minded personality, usually restless and sometimes they even make impulsive decisions and not able to stick to them. The next thing that we see about them is they suffer from the anxiety or depression or panic attacks, sleep disorder or insomnia or they will be able to sleep only for few hours and very disturbed sleep patterns. They suffer from various digestive disorders like flatulence, constipation or even some neurological conditions like numbness or neuropathies or even tremors. Pitha based personalities are usually moderate in weight and they have sharp eyes and they are quite focused, highly intelligent and they are quick in making decisions and they are hot tempered. Because of this hot temper they can create lot of enemity between people. Theya re usually good in public speaking and leadership qualities are more and they tend to suffer from certain conditions like bleeding disorder, gastritis. You can see lot of greying and tendency to balding are seen in pitha personalities. Kapha people are obese people. They are sluggish in their activities, very weak when it comes to responding. They make apt decision and they stick to it. They are very lethargic and lazy and their IQ levels are really good. These are certain conditions and we see as characters. Individually to see a vatha predominant personality is very less because usually what we see is a combination of doshas.
