Drug trafficker Pablo Escobar had his own zoo in Colombia that included four pet hippopotamuses. After Escobar was killed in 1993, the hippos were too big and expensive to remove, and they have since multiplied. Now, there are an estimated 100 hippos in the Colombian jungle, drawing tourists to the area, and there are fears the wild animal population could get out of hand.
