Viper, also known as the Viper Predator, was a Yautja mercenary and the leader of the Serpent Clan. He was the younger brother of Snake, who was associated with Elder Greyback and the Los Angeles hunting party. The Serpent Clan is renowned as the deadliest mercenary group in Yautja culture, known for always completing their missions. Viper and his clan specialized in Xenomorph hunts and occasionally participated in Clan wars. When not on a mission, Viper targeted those with valuable technology and trophies, either for bartering or for future use.
Viper frequently collaborated with Elder Cracked Tusk on hunts, trading his services for vehicles and specialized equipment necessary for hunts on foreign planets. He also worked with Enforcers to hunt down Bad Bloods, gaining immunity from past crimes in return.
