The departure of the Gift of the Givers, the humanitarian relief organisation, has had many Makhanda residents questioning whether they will still have water in a few months. The organisation released a statement that it would be leaving Makhanda along with the Jojo tanks, filtration systems and water tankers they brought in to relieve the municipality's water crisis.
