Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this GasStop Emergency Propane Shut-off Gauge with this 18-inch long hose. So this is gonna help protect your family against any major propane leaks and regulator failures. Whereas your propane tank itself and your hose both have safety features that are gonna help reduce the amount of propane flowing through if they detect a leak. They're still gonna allow just a little bit of propane to flow through.
So that can be pretty dangerous if you have a fire or something like that. This system is going to cut off that flow 100% immediately if it we're to detect any leaks or regulator failure. So, this is gonna give you a lot of peace of mind knowing that propane is going to be completely shut off. You won't have to worry about the trickle coming through still. This does have the Type-1 ACME fitting.
So this is gonna be compatible with your travel trailers and fifth wheels. We do have a different device, that's the POL connection for your Class A and Class C motor homes that is sold separately. This one is designed specifically for your travel trailers and fifth wheels that use that ACME fitting there to get connected to your tank. And this also has this rotating pressure gauge that's going to give you a nice quick view of: If you have high pressure in your tank, if you have sufficient gas, or if your tank is getting close to being empty. And then if you we're to experience a leak or something like that and it shuts down, all it takes to reset it is to push that in four to six times and that will reactivate it and allow the the propane to flow through again.
So, very simple to use. And this can also be used to check for minor leaks if you we're to be experiencing that. This will alert you to that with a very simple process, very easy to get installed on your tank with that ACME fitting. You just tighten down onto your existing propane tank's gas cylinder, and then we've got our hose here with the same kind of ACME fitting. So that's just gonna fit right in between there.
So this is gonna add a little bit of space for you, from what your system currently uses. It's just a slightly over 3 inches and call it 3 1/8 of an inch, additional space that this is gonna require. And so that's really nice benefit to our hose here. It does have a 90 degree angle, so unlike your other hoses that would have to kinda come out and make a wider loop to get down to your regulator, this is gonna give you that nice tight 90 degree angle. So it's gonna fit into your tighter spaces. If you're trying to use a cover for your propane tanks, this is going to make it much easier to fit in without having to worry about the hose snagging the covers. And because this is in a GasGear braided stainless steel construction, you're not gonna have to worry about it cracking or stiffening, like rubber hoses. So it is gonna hold up really well for you. Like I said, it is 18 inches long. It's got the ACME fitting onto one end, and then a quarter inch male inverted flare in there to connect to your regulator. This does have a 200,000 BTU maximum flow capacity and 250 PSI maximum pressure rating. So it will do a great job for you connecting your shut-off valve to your regulator so that propane can flow through nice and smooth for you. The two components here are going to meet the UL and CSA standard, so you can trust that they are gonna do a good job for you, will give you that peace of mind that you need. Just know that your propane is gonna be completely shut off if there we're to be a leak. You don't have to worry about propane being kind of a scary subject sometimes. You don't want to have to worry about leaks while you're out. So this is gonna be a great addition for your setup. So that completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.
