On “Fight For Me,” GAWVI and Lecrae talk about fighting for what they believe and through feelings of doubt. Following “SLINGSHOT,” this is GAWVI’s second single of 2018.

This is the first collaboration between Lecrae and GAWVI since G started his career as an artist. The two first met at a concert and GAWVI gave Lecrae some beats when he was seventeen years old. In an Instagram post, he talked about his relationship with Lecrae:

Want to honor Lecrae & Reach Records for believing in me when I was 17 years old. Tonight at 12 am I drop my new single “Fight For Me” and this will be my first feature ever I am blessed to have with the man himself Lecrae.
