Hey y'all! I decided to go for an adventure up to the north end of Topsail Island, NC, where The New River meets the Atlantic at the New River Inlet. The currents are wild there, and there is usually some kind of fish biting. This day, it was sharks. I was really surprised that I could pull a shark up onto the beach with such light tackle and gear. That was a lot of work, but definitely fun! I did NOT think I was going to catch a shark that size on a little shrimp, but I'm surprised by something, every time I go out fishing.
