a blueberry cobbler we did in a cast iron skillet on the kamado cooker
blueberry cobbler recipe
For macerated blueberries:
4 cups blueberries
3 tablespoons sugar
1 orange—Juiced / set aside 2 tablespoons for filling
mix in a bowl and let sit for 30 minutes to 4 hours

blueberry filling:
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon corn starch
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons of orange juice
mix well in bowl and pour over macerated blueberries.. mix well and then pour into cast iron skillet

topping:
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 cup of milk

combined flour and butter in a bowl and cut with a fork or pastry cutter. add sugars,cinnamon,nutmeg.baking powder,and salt - mix well.
poor milk into bowl and mix until combined.

using a spoon drop small pieces of batter over to the top of blueberry mixture. It is suppose to be rustic looking so its okay to drop randomly.

heat grill to 400 degrees and cook over indirect heat for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown and blueberries are soft..
