This timelapse shows the progress of the Rabbit Fire in Riverside County, CA, as hot and dry conditions make suppression difficult. The fire, which was 55% contained as of July 18, has burned more than 8,000 acres.
Cal Fire tweeted, ‘The combination of dry fuels, topography, and weather provides the right conditions for such fire behavior and growth. Just watching the video, you realize that it doesn’t take much for a wildland fire to make its presence known.’
