2. More calcium intake can cause kidney stones: Dietary calcium doesn't cause kidney stones and there are very rare chances of being caused by supplemental calcium. The body releases excess calcium from the body. A daily intake of 2.5-3 liters of water is necessary.
3. Males do not require calcium: Calcium is required by both males and females in all age groups whether adults or old age. Before intake of calcium, levels should be checked necessarily.
4. Calcium is only for bone health maintenance: Calcium is important for the whole functioning of the body from the heart to blood clotting.
5. Extra calcium will increase bone density: Excess of everything is bad. A high amount of calcium can also lead to death. Other nutrients keep equal importance to our human body. A completely balanced diet should be taken.
