Today’s finisher was brutal, I attempted the jail house strong Juarez Valley Push Ups. ⠀

The Juarez Valley Pushup Challenge consists of ascending and descending repetitions in an alternating fashion. ⠀
⠀
The repetitions are performed in descending order on all odd-numbered sets and on even-numbered sets, reps are performed in ascending order until they finally meet in the middle. ⠀

Set 5-18 Reps⠀

Between each set walk 8 foot across my “imaginary cell” keeping in the spirit that this routine evolved out of an American/Mexican prison. ⠀

I got 15 Reps on Set 5, I know I have more in the tank but having had 12 days off with illness I know I’ll improve on this in the coming weeks. ⠀

I think when I’m fresh and at the start of my session, I’d have a good crack at finishing this in around 8/10 Minutes. ⠀

Not going to lie I took the Juarez Valley Push up method to failure, it was brutal and the pump I had was insane and I haven’t felt a pump like that for a long time. ⠀

It was a great finisher and it was fun in a sadistic way. ⠀
