This video (hell, even this month) is all about freeing yourself from the expectations of being perfect or making perfect songs / music production / instrumentals or any king of creative work. For every music producer, engineer, or artist in ANY artistic field out there: *Perfectionism is just holding you back*. And if it's not, it's tearing apart your insides. Rather than having unreal expectations of yourself, your skill level, or your art, just do what comes natural to you and what you enjoy. "Perfecting your craft" should be a term that doesn't exist. Because "perfect" doesn't exist.

From my lack of fishing songs, shooting and reshooting videos over and over again only to never post them, to holding myself to unreal standards for unreal asks so I don't upset anyone...this nonsense is not the business, at all. (literally). Your creativity is not defined by how perfect you can make something. Your creativity (and subsequently your art) is defined ONLY by how it makes you and other people feel. Stop attaching yourself to numbers and thinking of yourself as a machine. You are not a machine. You are a human with feelings. A human who needs rest. A human who breathes, eats, and lives outside of what good they can provide for OTHER people.

I'll just leave it at... "enjoy" your craft.
