THE SONG INSIDE - VICTOR KIOULAPHIDES, a composition for Mandolin solo played by Alex Timmerman. The work was composed by Kioulaphides in 2017 on request by the Concorso Musicale per Strumenti a Pizzico Estudiantina Bergamasca in Bergamo, Italy, and is based on an 18th-century French folk song.
For this video a special Luigi Embergher (1856 - 1943) 'double top' Roman Concert Mandolin, Model No. 5 Bis, is used. It was build in 1905 by Luigi Embergher as a special order after the design of Ginislao Paris of St. Petersburg (RU).
