*Update for those who don't want to scroll through the comments:
- Yes I was rough with them and didn't know any better. I've learned the error of my ways and I promise not to pull on any more animal tails. I was just trying to save them. None of them were injured and they all lived and were released by the wildlife rehabilitator when they were old enough. 💜

Well this past Thursday didn't start out quite as planned... I let my dogs outside as usual and within seconds I hear Buddy barking at something. It's not his normal bark, but his "Hey look what I found" bark. I'm serious. You dog owners know what I'm talking about. Anyway, he found a dead opossum. He didn't kill it, for the record. Too many flies. So no big deal, I'll grab a trash bag and get rid of it. But then I saw little hands and tails sticking out of the stomach area, and they were wiggling!
So I called Breaden Wildlife Rescue and asked him what to do. He said if I wanted the babies to live I'd have to pull them out of the mom's pouch and put them in a box until he could come get them. Fuuuuuuuun! So I documented their rescue. I handed them over to him about two hours later. 😀
Also, I found out that Breaden Wildlife Rescue works off on donations only, so if anyone would like to contribute, please let me know! I'm going to!
