Invisible Hands was a six-part animated serial which aired on MTV in the early 1990s (during the first season of the Liquid Television) with art and script by the great Richard Sala, RIP, based on a story in his first self-published comic, Night Drive. A unique blend of pulp novels, midnight movies, and Goreyesque dark humor. Sala's work here, and in his many graphic novels, is wonderfully weird and compelling.
In 2011, MTV uploaded all of the old LTV episodes to liquidtelevision.com and made it freely available, streaming in high quality, but that site's now defunct, unfortunately. With the recent passing of Mr. Sala, we tried to revisit this material, but it wasn't available anywhere in full. Thus, we edited together all six episodes from VHS archival copies floating around (we find the tape warble has an additive rather than subtractive effect) and present it here as a tribute to Mr. Sala.
