The Little Dipper kiddie roller coaster was built by the Alan Herschell Company. It opened in 1952 and is the oldest continuously operating steel coaster in North America that hasn't been relocated. I know that's a mouthful. But, it's pretty significant since most of the parks of this type didn't survive very long. This park has been a staple of local families for over 50 years. It's has changed very little in those 50+ years. Almost all of the rides that were in the park when it opened are still there today. The most recent addition to the park was the Pony ride back in 1969.
