Shantae is one of the biggest indie game franchises out there. Created by Wayfoward, there are now five Shantae games, a successful Kickstarter, two canceled games, and countless other appearances by the half-genie hero.

By the way, I've only ever played two Shantae games. I've put a little time into the first Game Boy Color game for this video, and I beat Shantae: Half-Genie Hero for a review back when it came out, but that's it.
