Eight days before the 2020 presidential election, the USC Price School and the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington hosted two critical conversations, with welcome remarks by USC Price Interim Dean and USC Schaeffer Center Director Dana Goldman. The first conversation explored the emergence of the electoral college and its role in American elections and the second highlighted the changing landscape of American politics owing to polarization and provide an analysis on the current election and the leadership qualities of the competing candidates.
