In this highly (un)scientific shootout, I pit four drum sample libraries against each other with the same song. if you're looking to purchase new drum plugins, hopefully you find this helpful. This is definitely not an apples-to-apples comparison; none of the kits are supposed to match each other, I just wanted to represent how each sampler sounded next to each other in a very general way.

Metal Machine - Original Mix default with TAMA John Tempesta Signature snare
GGD Invasion - Default Kit (High CPU) with Ludwig Black Beauty snare
Drums of Destruction - "Dense" preset but swapped Mapex Black Panther Hammered Brass snare instead of Gretsch USA Custom
SSD5 - Deluxe Metal 3 kit (Pre-processed with stacked snare and kick samples)
