In this video I'm comparing my 4 favorite 5150 plugins, because the World definitely needs another 5150 Shootout!
- Nembrini - 8180 Tube Monster
- ML Sound Lab - Amped Roots 5034 Ryan "Fluff" Bruce signature from Riffs, Beards & Gear)
(I know this is an EVH with EL34s and not a Peavey block letter with 6l6s, but it's free and it's awesome!)
- Neural DSP - Archetype: Nolly amp 3
- Line 6 Helix - PV Panama
Amp settings at 0:40
Pedal settings at 1:12
...note that all amps are boosted with their own internal Ibanez or Maxon 808 Tube Screamers, except for the Nembrini (doesn't come with pedals), which is boosted with a Mercuriall TSC-808 (which btw is FREE and awesome).
Complete Guitar Bus Insert at 0:01
...all tracks are going through MIKKO Essentials by ML Sound Lab, EVH 4x12 cab, mic'd up with a Shure SM57 and a Sennheiser MD421.
The only Post Processing on the Rhythm Guitars Bus are an instance of Waves C4 ("Andy Sneap setting" to tame palm muting), standard low and high cuts, and 2 tiny EQ dips to cut some harsh frequencies in the IR.
