So, this is my final test of sound design for my film theory about the truly twisted nature of pop-music and the banality of violence in our culture. For this experiment I used one of my favorite smash-up films off all time "Kelly's Heroes". The reason I call this a smash-up is because well Oddball (Donald Sutherland's character) is a hippie in 1944. So, in keeping with my plans to one day film a sequence very similar to this for a post-civilization period film set in America. However, I envision this attack taking place in a town instead of a rail yard. And instead of the tanks playing Country Western Music- POP MUSIC. I just don't even an enough of digital library to really create a complete sound design right now for this idea. But this is basically the way I envision the scene working out.
