A 20-year-old woman is dead, and a man has been charged with second-degree murder after a shooting in the town of Hebron in Washington County. Police say that four people in a vehicle went up the wrong driveway looking for a friend's house, and the suspect allegedly fired two shots, one of which struck the vehicle.
What does this mean in the context of New York State's self-defense laws?
