Beef Tenderloin in a Cast Iron Pan- 1-1/2'' Tenderloin, pat dry, Season with Salt and Pepper. Pre-Heat Oven to 450F, Slowly heat Cast Iron Pan on Stove top to Medium-High Heat, Add 1 Tbs. Vegetable Oil, Place Tenderloin in the Pan and cook 2 Minutes on each side, Remove from heat, add 3 Tsp. of Butter, 2 Smashed Garlic Cloves, 2- Sprigs of Thyme, A Few Whole Mushrooms, Place in Pre-Heated Oven for 6 Minutes, Remove Tenderloin and place on a plate with pan juices, Rest for 5 Minutes Before Cutting.
