Drum Major Walter Davidson leading the massed Pipe Bands into the Games field playing "Scotland the Brave" on the march as they prepared to salute the Chieftains during the 2023 Drumtochty Highland Games. These were held in the grounds of Drumtochty Castle at Auchenblae, Laurencekirk in Aberdeenshire, Scotland on Saturday 24th June 2023.
The bands taking part, led by leading Drum Major Walter Davidson, together with Drum Majors Bert Summers and Rob Brownfield, were the Lonach Pipe Band, Newtonhill Pipe Band and Howe o' the Mearns Pipe Band. They were playing Scotland the Brave, Flett from Flotta and part of Wings.
