Homemade fishballs recipe
Ingredients
300g Yellow tail fish meat
270g Ice water
3 tsp Salt
Red chilli and spring onions, chopped
1 tsp Dried sole fish powder (optional) see *Tip
Directions
Place fish meat into mixing bowl and blend 30 sec / speed 10.
Pour in the ice water. Blend 30 sec / speed 10.
Add salt, knead / 3 min.
Shape them into round balls using a spoon.
Cook the fishballs in boiling water. When they float, it is ready.
*Tip: Make your own sole fish powder. Simply rinse dried sole fish, wipe dry, bake till dry and pulverise into powder. Add some into soupy dishes or your steamboat! Addition of Sole Fish powder is optional to enhance the taste of the fishballs. Use sole fish powder for flavouring like chicken stock powder.
