Happy Norouz/Persian New Year from us at Ayande Co to you all!
One of us in New York. One of us in San Francisco. One of us in Idaho (missing Tara). Another one of us in the South Bay. All working professionals. Yet somehow, when we’re together, even for a short time (we only had two sessions to practice 😭) we can’t help but create. Dancing with my best friends, also born and raised in America, is a blessing. It’s how we stay connected to our Iranian culture. We love to add our own modern and unique twist to Persian dance, and I think this choreography speaks to that. Keep watching for the surprises :) It’s also amazing when we cry from laughter when we mess up hard or present a ridiculous dance move that immediately needs to be thrown away and never discussed again because it will just never work, hahaha. With that said, Happy Norouz and Saale No Mobarak to all of you. Doosetoon daram. I hope you enjoy our choreography and dance. Thank you for your support and positive energy. ❤️
Thank you to Ajam Band for the first song, and Ali Farahani for the mix of the second and third songs. We fell in love with your music immediately and hope to continue to create with your music 🙏
