The Zaanse Schans is a freely accessible living and working windmill village dating back to 1850. During my several visits to the village this winter season, I shot a few timelapses that I used to create this film.
All shots are from the month of January-February when Holland region was undergoing a long dark winter with a few rare sunny occasions.
If you ever visit Zaanse Schans, do not forget to explore the local cheese shop, or try the famous Dutch stroopwafel.
