This song is titled~ POR UNA CABEZA~ this is from record 2 side 3 This song was actually recorded on November 29,1935 and written by Carlos Gardel. However it was meant to be released as a single at that time,it never was. This song instead ended up as a Columbia boxset which was released in 1941.

I came across this 4 record boxset of The Hurtado Brothers & Their Royal Marimba Band quite by accident. I bought several 78rpm boxsets from a friend. This boxset is from the Columbia label. Boxset C-71. This boxset was issued in 1941. It is very hard to find any real information not only about the songs in this boxset but to find out how or why Columbia Records made this into a compilation boxset.

Most people I have talked to about this boxset are not aware of The Hurtado Brothers ever having been on Columbia Records. Mostly all Hurtado Brothers recordings were done on the Victor labels.

If there is anybody who reads this that has any really good information about this boxset or the band itself, It would be great to hear from you.
