We start with a flea and tick repellent shampoo made with neem oil and geranium essential oil (which is an all natural flea and tick repellant). Then we share our all natural flea and tick spray (better than Wondercide), which is the best way to prevent ticks when you go to the woods or mosquitos in the evening. Then we cover our Spot-on fleas and ticks repellant, also with geranium for ticks. We also mention baltic amber necklace: the scientific world seems to discount them, but we have found they work quite well… and they look good, too! And finally, we share our pest repellent soak for plants: you can use the tick spray recipe on the leaves of your plants if you have an infestation of aphids, but sometimes those pesky pets are hatching right from the soil: this soak takes care of them, while being gentle for bees and other pollinators.

As pet owners, we’re always wondering how to prevent ticks and fleas on our animals, especially since they carry diseases such as lyme disease. Commercial tick repellants have been proven to be toxic not only to our animals and our environment, but to us as well.Natural flea and tick control can be tough, and some commercially available natural flea and tick remedies just don’t cut it.. Mostly because they don’t contain enough of the right essential oils, such as the powerhouse that is neem oil, the best tick hack yet. And get this: it’s a safe and wonderful tick spray for kids as well.
