Today is the first day of London United RATP group operating TFL London Bus Route 18, previously operated by Metroline from Willesden Junction. Now operated by RATP group from Park Royal bus garage (the old Tower Transit Atlas Road garage) which has been bought on a 10 year lease with the old garage closing down. The buses used on the route include new Volvo Wright Gemini 3 Hybrid Diesel Double Decker Buses (VHs) as well as existing VHs from Edgware and Tolworth as well Alexander Dennis Enviro400’s (ADEs).

It was an eventful day with buses being curtailed due to works in Wembley and some buses were running without IBUS which was being sorted at Euston. Blind Change video coming soon!!! Some Metroline drivers are very picky with their breaks but now RATP are very strict regarding this and hence buses will be on time more often.
