Kyiv has been a participant in the project "Cities and Communities Free from Domestic Violence" for three years. Thanks to this, crisis rooms, shelters, day centers for social and psychological assistance, as well as 4 psychosocial support mobile teams are now operating in the capital.
All services interact with each other and together change the lives of survivors and support them on the way to breaking the cycle of violence. The heroine of the video, Anna, who evacuated from Luhansk region and in December her husband threw her and her two children out on the street, shares her experience of the help she received.
Watch the video to find out how the services work.
The project "Cities and Communities Free from Domestic Violence" is implemented with the support of the governments of the United Kingdom and Canada.
