I want to start off my first post in awhile by saying Black Lives Matter. Black lives should have always mattered but historically, statistically, and presently that is not the case. There is power in knowledge and sincere understanding, to fully face our ugly biases in order to create true change. There is so much wrong in this world but so much can be made right if instead of saying "their problem" we say "our problem". I don't want to let this moment pass but instead fight for a movement, a movement for Black lives and eventually equal rights for all.
