Order of Operations: What do the acronyms BODMAS, BIDMAS, BEDMAS and PEMDAS/PEDMAS stand for? What does order of operations mean?
This video will explain in which order to calculate math problems and provide worked examples and practice questions.
Note: we sometimes refer to 'PEDMAS' rather than 'PEMDAS' in the video, as in the UK (and some other European countries) we usually say 'division/multiplication'. However, multiplication and division have the same importance in the order of operations. Use whichever acronym works best for you!
