It's been a little while since I posted a full-length "Drum Cam" on The YouTubes, but tonight, was the premiere of The Voice Season 22, so I thought it was about time I did!
When I was 6 years old, nothing made me happier or brought more joy than sitting behind my drum set and playing along to songs. I had stacks of my mom's 45s at my disposal, along with one of those suitcase record players with the speakers on the side and a turn table in the middle that folded down. I spent hours in my bedroom playing along to The O'Jays, The Temptations, Booker T. and the MGS, Gladys Knight, Barry White and more... That was the beginning.
Cut to present: Since they came on the scene almost two decades ago, I've always been a fan of the band Fall Out Boy. I find their songs to be hooky, but at the same time, clever and smart, without being pretentious or self-indulgent. While I may never play with Fall Out Boy, being in a pretty nifty cover band allows me the opportunity to jam out on their songs... so pretty much, I'm still 5 years old!
I do not own or claim any rights to this music... it is posted purely for entertainment and/or educational purposes and not for any means of monetization. I hope you enjoy watching this performance as much as I enjoyed playing it!
