The 60's cultural phenomenon known as the cassette tape was introduced to America in 1964, the same year Herb Frank and his family moved to Madison, Wisconsin to make history by putting the city by the lakes on the map as one of the best cities in America to host national acts. From The Beach Boys to Frank Sinatra, Elvis and Johnny Cash, Madison is now an annual home to hundreds of international rock stars.
Experiential Design Firm ZEBRADOG used community donated cassette taps to create a signature canvas for a glorious portrait of Sylvee Frank, the matriarch of Madison music and Herb's beloved wife... over 2,370 cassettes transformed a wall of the new Madison music venue called The Sylvee into the best photo op. in live music.
