Thousands marched through Moscow on Saturday to mark the first anniversary of the assassination of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov.
Huge crowds gathered at Pushkin square and marched to Academician Sakharov Avenue, as part of the commemoration rallies held in several Russian cities including St.Petersburg.
The 55-year-old Nemtsov, an opposition leader and former deputy prime minister, was gunned down near the Kremlin walls on Feb. 27, 2015
