However, Viktor Cherniiavskyi was an Evangelical pastor, volunteering with the Ukrainian military in 2014 when he was arrested in Luhansk, Ukraine by Russian troops. Viktor tells his harrowing tale of how he was tortured for his faith and why the Kremlin has a particular hatred of American protestants and evangelicals.
