Housed at the same coffeeshop as the famous Mr & Mrs Mogan Super Crispy Roti Prata, this wanton mee stall often sits out of the limelight of its neighbour stall on it's right. But I was determine to try it today. Ordered a plate which costed only $3 and grabbed a table with 2 lovely aunties where we chatted away haha!
Noodles were nicely done and most importantly they used 熟油 (Cantonese for Cooked Oil) as seasoning and just simple homemade chilli sauce and soy sauce to flavour the noodles. Super nostalgic, reminds me of the wanton mee push cart outside of St Michael's School in the 80s when I was in my early primary school. Really miss eating by the side of the longkang (drain) just along the outside of the main entrance. Char siew nothing to shout about but the 3 wantons were delish!
Go check it out and let me know if you like this stall too! Definitely CAN EAT!
