Living with regret after a person dies is something that many of us do. I think it's a human trait where we compare how we would act today with how we acted in the past, and yet the truth is that how we act is always dependent upon the resources we have available to us. We may have additional resources available to us today but those resources were not available to us in the past, otherwise we would have acted differently. Let's be kind to ourself and not judge how we acted in the past by how we would act today with a whole different set of resources.
