how to make the ultimate chocolate mousse easy shorts
This was My 1st time making this. I really love chocolate Mousse. I had no idea how easy it is to make. A few simple to steps follow along. Watch video for each step. I think cleaning your mixer with lemon juice is Very important. Knowing when you get them soft peaks. Your meringue has to stand up on whisk by it self. These steps are critical. for a perfect chocolate mousse. Enjoy!
You will need:
-3 Tbsp butter
-6 ounces semisweet chocolate, Bakers Chocolate
-3 large eggs, at room temperature, yolks and whites separated
-1/4 Tsp. cream of tartar
-1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
-1/2 cup heavy cream, cold
-1 tsp. vanilla extract
Step 1 Separate your Room Temp eggs.
Step 2 Chopped your chocolate. Add to a double boiler with the Cream. Heat until chocolate is Smooth Remove chocolate from heat slowly add your egg Yolks to chocolate mixture. Be sure to mix eggs quickly so you don't cook them.
Step 3 Put your egg white and cream of tartar in a stand mixer mix until eggs are Frothy. Slowly add the Sugar Mix until Stiff peaks form about 2-3 Minutes.
Step 4 Slowly add your Meringue to Chocolate Mixture 3 equal parts works best be sure fold not mix.
Step 5 Add the chocolate mixture to Glasses of your choice.
Step 6 Put in Fridge for at least 3 Hours so mousse can set.
Step 7 Enjoy your chocolate mousse withe Berry and icing sugar. Nice. Enjoy.
