Arroz Valenciana is a famous dish from my home province of Iloilo. This dish is always serve during fiestas, Christmas and other occassions. Arroz Valeciana is also similar to Paella & Bringhe. The original Ilonggo style Valenciana usually has chicken liver & gizzard. I just made mine simple & quicker to prepare. One thing I like with this dish is that everything is already combined into one meal with amazing flavour & color.
Ingredients:
2 cups Gutinous Rice
3 cups organic low sodium Chicken Broth
1 tsp Tumeric powder
2 pcs Chicken breast cut into strips or diced
1 pcs. Chorizo Bilbao thinnly sliced
8-10 pcs. medium cooked shrimps
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper cunt into strips
1/4 cup green peas
1 can dry peas (guisantes )
1/4 cup raisins
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp chicken seasoning powder
2 tbsp Olive oil
3 boiled eggs
Banana leaves
1 stem spring onion
