Whether you are visiting Thailand for a holiday or vacation, or you're a long term resident, it's a great idea to try some of the local food. And what better way to 'eat like a Thai' than try some delicious street food from one of the stalls by the side of the road?
But how can you guarantee the food you are buying is fresh? And what sort of prices should you expect to pay?
Let's take a stroll down the beach road in Jomtien near Pattaya, Chonburi.
I try a few different stalls and find out if the stallholders understand my English (they do), and also my not very clear Thai (they kind of do!).
I found some delicious food suitable for all, and some very friendly people!
