ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. — A 6-year-old boy got the chance to be the St. Charles County Police Department’s police chief for the day on Thursday.
Cooper Wallweber is known for donating $6,000 to Kinloch firefighter Arlydia Bufford after she was seriously injured in a shooting in June.
After Cooper was sworn in early Thursday morning, he took a tour of the police department. He is also scheduled to make stuffed animals for children in need and visit Yadi's Yummies dog cafe to make treats for K-9 officers.
The Chief for the Day program invites children to participate in "behind the badge adventures and fun in the community," according to a press release.
