Displaced Palestinians recount the moment Israeli forces raided the houses near Al-Shifa Hospital. The Palestinian man mentioned that they "raised the white flag"; however, they started "throwing shells."
The hospital has been under siege since 18 March, when Israeli forces stormed the compound in Gaza City. An estimated 30,000 people, including displaced civilians, wounded patients, and medical staff, were sheltering there.
