Welcome to Mobile, Alabama, the Port City.
The Mobile Cruise Terminal is a 5-minute walk from Downtown Mobile, which has many restaurants, hotels, and fun for the whole family. Mobile’s proximity to I-10 and I-65 makes driving to the terminal easier than ever. Known as the “Gateway to the Gulf,” Mobile is a fantastic drive market and is the first port for most traveling from the central part of the US with over 63 million potential cruisers just a day’s drive away. And, starting 2025, the new Mobile International Airport will be an easy, under 10-minute drive, to the cruise terminal.
The Port of Mobile is perfectly located in Mobile Bay just off the Gulf of Mexico. An unobstructed 3-and-a-half-hour direct passage from sea buoy to port makes our terminal unique for its ease of access, and we continue to widen the Port’s 45-foot-deep channel. Which means, our Port and Terminal can easily accommodate most cruise ships.
In Mobile, passenger ships get first priority access to the port, and when your cruise ship arrives at our terminal, it will rest in a 1,200-foot dock safely secured to 100 ton mooring bollards with 60 feet of spacing between each; complete with fresh water available for all of the ship’s needs.
The brand-new gangway connects the port to a newly renovated cruise terminal. This 66,000 square foot terminal can hold up to 6,600 passengers at a time.
Don’t forget parking! The attached parking garage can hold up to 500 vehicles, with overflow parking available nearby including a free shuttle.
For these reasons and so much more, Mobile is the perfect place to make your home port! Connect with us today to get more information about what we can offer your cruise line.
